Our certificates and seals

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is a globally recognised standard for the processing of textiles made from organically produced natural fibres. It ensures that the entire supply chain is environmentally friendly and socially responsible, from the harvesting of raw materials to the labelling of end products.
We produce GOTS-certified products for our customers on request. They are labelled as such.

FL Tex has been FAIRTRADE certified since 2018. You can recognise the certified products by the Fairtrade label. All the cotton in FAIRTRADE clothing is grown by FAIRTRADE producers and is certified and traded in accordance with FAIRTRADE standards.

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is one of the world’s best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. If a textile article has been awarded the STANDARD 100 label, you can be sure that all components of this article, i.e. all threads, buttons and other accessories, have been tested for harmful substances and that the article is therefore harmless to health. FL Tex can deliver to this standard at the customer’s request. Many of our production partners are certified accordingly.

OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN is a traceable product label for all types of textiles and leather articles that have been produced in environmentally friendly factories and in safe and socially responsible workplaces. The MADE IN GREEN label also gives consumers the certainty that the textile or leather product is made from materials that have been tested for harmful substances. We deliver according to this standard at the customer’s request.

The International Accord is an agreement between global trade unions and garment manufacturers that ensures the health and safety of workers in the textile industry. Our extended commitment to the program in Bangladesh shows that we believe in the positive impact of the Accord. This includes independent factory inspections, remedial action, safety training and an effective grievance procedure for workers.

The amfori BSCI is a leading corporate initiative to improve working conditions in global supply chains. The BSCI Code of Conduct sets out the values and principles that BSCI participants strive to implement in their supply chains together with their business partners. Every BSCI participant agrees to the Code of Conduct upon joining the initiative. FL Tex has been a member of BSCI amfori since 2011.

SA8000 is an international standard with the aim of improving working conditions. Created by Social Accountability International (SAI), an international NGO, it serves as a minimum requirement for social and labour standards, especially for transnational companies. Many of our production partners are certified accordingly.

The Green Button is a government seal for sustainable textiles that ensures that companies comply with social and ecological standards throughout their entire supply chain. It comprises strict criteria that range from raw material extraction to production.
FL Tex has been certified with the green button since 2024.

BVE3 is a digital tool for monitoring the chemical inventories of our producers that was developed by Bureau Veritas. It helps us to monitor compliance with regulations and the use of chemicals in our supply chains. We have been using BVE3 since 2023.

Alongside BVE3, BHive is one of the leading platforms for chemical management. Producers can create precise, digital chemical inventories and share their environmental data with their customers. FL Tex gains transparency about the chemical products used in the supply chain through its cooperation with BHive.
